According to a National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) survey, 63% of female business owners in the USA provide 50-100% of the household income, accounting for $432.1 billion in annual payroll.
Furthermore, as stated by Kemi Badenoch, former Business and Trade Secretary and Minister for Women and Equalities, female entrepreneurs in the UK can contribute £250 billion to the nation’s economy with equal access to adequate funding. In the past ten years alone, the number of self-employed women has risen by 283,000, with around 1.5 million more female employees.
Acquisition International believes that celebrating the value of women in business is of utmost importance, and any opportunity to do so should be acted upon. The Influential Businesswoman Awards 2024 involve businesswomen of all sectors and working roles, applauding excellence inclusively. These awards are not restricted only to business owners or C-level executives.
Each year, the Research and Judging team uses information in the public domain to carefully seek out and select the best. Whether a non-profit, micro-business, or large corporation, winners in the Influential Businesswoman Awards 2024 are selected using unbiased and merit-based criteria.
