Sharing Documents with External Users
A Manager or Client Admin can share documents from the data room with external users by email invitation.
Follow these steps to share documents with external users:
1. Go to the 'Data Room' of the pathway with the document you want to share.
2. Click on the three ellipses of the document you want to share.
3. If the document is unpublished there will be no option to share. Click 'Change Status' and change the document status to 'Published'. Click 'Save'.
4. When/if the document is published, clicking the three ellipses will give the option to 'Share' the document. Add the guest's name and email address, and click 'Share'.
5. The Guest will receive an email notification that a file has been shared with them, and can access the file by clicking 'Go to File'.
